A cryptogram can be difficult even when every symbol has a simple substitution. Language patterns leak information: common letters, repeated words and word lengths become clues. A second detour: Tetris was created by Alexey Pajitnov in Moscow in 1984 while he worked at a computing center of the Soviet Academy of Sciences. Its name combines a reference to four-part shapes with Pajitnov's fondness for tennis.
