Girls & Lifestyle Games · 72

Makeover games work because tiny changes stack; hair, color, accessories and lighting can alter the whole impression even when the face underneath never changes. The design side has its own twist: Story-focused lifestyle games often make conversation choices feel larger than combat choices because there is no health bar explaining what the 'correct' answer is. Decorating games prove that moving a chair by ten pixels can consume twenty minutes with dignity.
