Puzzle-based learning gives mistakes a different tone: a wrong answer becomes evidence for the next attempt rather than simply a red mark. Another angle makes it more interesting: Friendly characters can act as memory cues; children may remember the rule because they remember who explained it and what happened immediately afterward. A friendly mascot can persuade a player to repeat an exercise that a worksheet could never negotiate.
