Coyote time is the platform-game trick that briefly allows a jump after a character has technically left an edge, matching human expectation better than strict physics. The design side has its own twist: Visual noise is expensive in a timing game because every decorative flash competes with the one cue the player actually needs to read. The restart key deserves its own achievement for hours worked.

The curious bit

The flying disc's nickname has roots in pie tins. College students were said to toss tins from the Frisbie Pie Company, and the sound of that name helped inspire the later toy trademark 'Frisbee'. There is another neat detail: The yo-yo has ancient roots, although its exact earliest origin is debated. What is certain is that versions of the toy existed long before modern ball bearings made today’s tricks possible.
