A small but excellent fact

Early computer RPGs often used graph paper because players had to draw their own dungeon maps. Getting lost was not a bug; keeping notes was part of the adventure. Here is another one to steal for a quiz night: The term 'NPC' means non-player character. It came from tabletop role-playing language and became so common that it is now understood far beyond RPGs.
