Basketball's original 1891 rules numbered thirteen, and the earliest games used peach baskets before open-bottom nets made retrieving the ball less of a chore. The design side has its own twist: A replay camera can make an ordinary goal feel historic simply by changing angle, speed and sound after the result is already known. A comeback begins when the score says impossible and the player says one more possession.
